Allie Knuckles is a sophomore member of UHP majoring in Kinesiology. For the 2017-2018 school year she will be serving as the Resident Advisor (RA) on the honors floor of Levine Hall. Allie lived in honors housing during her freshman year and through that experience made some of her closest friends at UNC Charlotte. According to Allie, living with fellow honors students gave her the support of friends who pushed her to do better and to get involved on campus and in UHP.
As an RA, Allie is looking forward to helping new residents transition to college, get involved on campus, and make UNC Charlotte feel like a home. She also plans to put together fun programs for her residents that will allow them to make connections with each other. As an RA on the honors floor, Allie hopes to develop friendships with other honors students and to support them not only with academics and extracurriculars, but also with honors. Allie would like her future residents to know two things: first, that “this is going to be the best year ever,” and second, that “getting involved will make a big campus feel small.”
